Feeding
Myanmar
The Christian Chamber of SW Florida
and New Mission Systems Intl. join together to help May 3rd
cyclone victims in Myanmar. New Mission Systems Intl. heard
from their missionaries in Yangon, Myanmar on May 7th. They
are alive and ready to distribute much needed rice and water
supplies to survivors.. The need for clean water, food and
shelter is very high.
NMSI has teams going to Myanmar at the end of May and June who
will bring money to the Myanmar missionaries. NMSI is also
able to wire money directly to the missionaries. They are
ready to meet the critical needs of people around them and to
spread the love of Christ.
On Monday, May 19th and
Tuesday, May 20th, the Christian Chamber will be distributing
donation boxes at their monthly luncheons. If you would like
to attend the luncheons, you must PREPAY online. If 140
people at the luncheons give $5 each, we will be able to feed over
7,700 people in Myanmar.
You may pick up donation boxes
at the Christian Chamber of SW Florida, Inc. 8191 College Parkway
Suite 205, Fort Myers FL 33919. Or call 239-481-1411.
Donation boxes will need to be turned back in to the Christian
Chamber by Monday June 16th. The missionaries will be
leaving for Myanmar on June 18th.
